How can I enter the roof giveaway?

Who is eligible to participate and potentially win the free roof replacement?
Priority and consideration will be extended to:
Individuals or families who are financially unable to afford a roof replacement.
Those who actively contribute to their community,
House multiple generations, or
Have faced significant loss or hardships.
While these factors are not strict requirements, they will be influential when selecting the winner. Participation in this contest is open only to individuals living on the island of Oahu.

What is the procedure after I submit my entry?
THH will contact you to schedule a roof inspection and assign a Project Manager (PM).
During the inspection, the PM will assess the roof's condition, create an estimate and email you a copy. THH will explain that the roof replacement's retail value is capped at $50,000 and discuss options if the estimate exceeds this cap.

If wind damage is identified, the PM may recommend filing a homeowners insurance claim, but you are not obligated to choose THH for the insurance-related work. Eligibility for a new roof through insurance may disqualify you from the giveaway.


When do I need to complete the submission and inspection process?
All submissions and inspections must be finalized by Saturday, December 16, 2024, at 6 PM.

How and when will the winner be selected?
The winner will be chosen by THH on December 24th, 2024, at 5 PM. The announcement will be made via Facebook and Instagram live stream.

What happens after the winner is selected?
THH will contact the winner to schedule the roofing installation and create a contract for color selection and scope at no charge. The build will begin within 30-90 days of the contract.

Can the giveaway deadline be extended?
THH reserves the right to extend the deadline, but it will not be extended more than 60 days after the original date for any reason THH sees fit.

What about THH employees and their families?
THH employees and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering the contest to ensure impartiality and avoid any perceived influence on the outcome.
