Inspection and Agreement
Our roofing experts will inspect your home’s roof for free, examining carefully for qualifying wind damage. Once our team has completed their assessment, we’ll share our findings with you along with a comprehensive report.
Before we take the next step, we’ll ask you to sign an agreement form. The agreement states that you allow us to represent you when meeting with your insurance provider and if approved, have True Home Hawaii to perform the necessary work at the cost your insurance is willing to pay.
Filing the Claim and Approval
If filing a claim is recommended, we will help you do so. Once filed, your insurance will schedule an adjuster to assess for natural damage. A THH project manager should be present when the insurance adjuster arrives, to ensure nothing is overlooked and to justify the claim.
Pending approval, you will then receive something called a “scope of work”—everything that your insurance is willing to pay for. The project manager will review it to make sure you receive the coverage you deserve. Often you will only have to pay your deductible. Once approved, your insurance company will send you two checks, half to get started and half when complete.
Design and Build
Next is the fun part! Your project managers will discuss your many options with you, including materials, colors, and any special requests. Insurance will pay to restore your roof to pre-storm condition, but there are multiple options, warranties, or upgrades to choose from if you prefer.
Then, the build begins! Timelines vary based on the weather, size of the project, and material availability; however, we will schedule your restoration as timely as possible.
